Music Groups at Whangaparāoa College

There are numerous performance opportunities for all of our music groups to represent Whangaparāoa College . We showcase our musical talent by competing in: RockQuest, BandQuest, Play it Strange, Stand Up Stand Out, the KBB Music Festival with our Concert Band and Big Band as well as the  NZCT  Chamber Music contest.

Rehearsal, attendance and practice at home are key to the success and enjoyment of the groups. Students’ commitment to their group is crucial.

To join a group, please email HOD Music Sonya Shone at [email protected].nz.
