Whangaparāoa College has grown significantly in recent years, alongside the community around us. As we grow, our structures and ways of working are evolving too.
We are moving towards a three-school model—Junior, Middle and Senior—designed to strengthen connection, leadership and support for every learner, while retaining the opportunities of a large Year 7–13 college.

Our College sits on 32 hectares overlooking Stanmore Bay on the Hibiscus Coast, surrounded by beaches, reserves and coastal walks. An early-morning swim, an evening walk by the water or time outdoors at the end of the working day can become part of everyday life here.
The wider area combines coastal living with the convenience of a rapidly growing part of Auckland. Gulf Harbour, Red Beach, Ōrewa, Silverdale, Millwater and Milldale are all within easy reach, offering a range of established and newer communities in which to make a home.
From the beaches and bays of the peninsula to Shakespear Regional Park and Gulf Harbour Marina, there is plenty to explore.
