Head Learners share school life on More FM

Year 13 head learners Noah and Jess are making a significant impact, not just within our school but across the Whangaparāoa Peninsula. Their recent frank discussion on More FM highlighted their commitment to their community and their honest reflections on the challenges and opportunities facing teenagers.

They spoke openly about the delicate balance of academic pressures, extracurricular activities—Noah managing his demanding boxing schedule—and leadership responsibilities. Both emphasised the importance of supportive teachers and friends in navigating these demands.

A key topic was the need for more resources and spaces for young people (teens) on the Peninsula. They articulated a clear desire for increased opportunities for connection and engagement, recognising the unique challenges of growing up in their area.

Noah and Jess also shared their ambitious future goals, demonstrating a drive and determination that resonates with their leadership roles.
